Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin Pop music industry has been impacted by his globular reach. The 2016 smash Una Lady Como Tu was the winner of the Colombian Kids Choice Award for Most Popular Song in the year 2017. In 2017, he dropped ADN which was his debut long-player with La Industria Inc. in Medellin. The album climbed to number 8 in the Top Latin Albums Chart. In the following year, he joined forces with Ozuna to record Vaina Loca which was a Top Five hit. He released in 2020 the chart-topping sophomore album Dopamina and also collaborated on Mala Influencia alongside Noriel. Then in 2021, he sang a duet on TINI's streaming hit track Maldita Foto. The hit song La Bachata from 2000 was first released in 2023. Turizo was born into an musical family. His elder brother and mom are each musicians. According to him, musicality was an integral component of his childhood. As a child he learned to play ukulele, saxophone and piano. When his original career plan was becoming a vet, His brother Julian convinced him to take singing classes with a Cuban instructor. As a consequence of discovering the talent as a performer changed the course of his life.
