Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor. He started his acting career by playing roles in television series, including Opposite Sex in 2000. After appearing in several teen movies, including Not Another Teen Movie in 2001, he gained acclaim as the Marvel Comics character, the Human Torch. Evans has also been featured in movie versions of graphic novels as well as comics, including TMNT (2007), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009), Snowpiercer (2003). His portrayal of Steve Rogers/Captain America in his role in Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014, 2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) as well as Endgame 2019. The latter brought him increased appreciation. His role in the Marvel series established him as one of the highest paid actors.
